My time in treatment was an overall exceptional experience, from the very beginning of my intake to the day I was discharged.

But the real pièce de résistance was working with Katherine Reynolds afterwards. I felt a connection with her from the very first introduction and knew she would be a pivotal and important person to help me navigate some very personal family issues as I began a healthier lifestyle in sobriety.

Her insight, professionalism, and knowledge of addiction and trauma were impressive and comforting, while her sincere compassion, care, and empathy for my well-being made all the difference.

I am forever grateful for her guidance and the time we spent working together. Katherine has made a huge impact on my life.

Working with Kathy was the best experience I could have imagined with sober coaching. When I started working with her, I was really struggling. She not only made herself accessible but also created a safe space where I could be completely honest. I always felt supported—24/7. Kathy is one of the reasons I am sober today. Without her approach, I don't think I would be where I am now. She made me feel comfortable at a time when I felt a lot of shame. Kathy is personable and never made me feel bad about my problems. That was key for me. I also needed a coach I could trust. My parents are very pushy and hard to deal with, but Kathy was able to handle them with ease while preserving my confidentiality. That was so important to me.

In the beginning, I resisted sober coaching and didn’t want to do it. But once I started working with Kathy, I actually looked forward to our sessions. We continue our relationship today. She is one of my most special sober supports, and I will always be grateful to her.

For me, working with Kathy added that extra layer of support that I think everyone in recovery truly needs. Having someone who has walked in my shoes—someone who understands the battles of addiction day in and day out—made all the difference. Kathy was always there for me, day or night, to help me navigate triggers in real time.

The combination of weekly therapy with a clinician and the 24-hour support and frequent check-ins with a recovery coach who’s also living in recovery is incredibly powerful. It helped me beat the odds that are so often stacked against us in staying sober.

Kathy brought that unique perspective of someone who’s lived this daily fight. Only someone who has lived this journey can truly understand how hard it is—and she did. Her constant availability and unwavering support were key in helping me silence that voice from the addict side of my brain and stay focused on my recovery. I can’t thank her enough for being such a vital part of my journey.

I didn’t realize how much I needed a recovery coach until I started working with Kathy. This was not my first shot at sobriety. From day one, she made me feel safe, respected, and understood which was something I hadn’t felt in a long time. She never judged me, no matter what I shared, and always made me feel like what I said and felt mattered.

Kathy’s lived experience gave me hope. She’s been there and knows what it’s like to struggle, which made me feel less alone. She was always available, even on the toughest days, and her guidance helped me navigate the ups and downs of recovery.

What stood out most was her genuine compassion and dedication. She believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself, and that made all the difference. I’m so grateful for the time I’ve spent working with Kathy, she has truly been a lifeline in my recovery journey.
